Berni draws inspiration from the local environment, incorporating elements of the countryside, farming, industry, and coastal life into his work. He collects scrap metal from various sources, including scrapyards, garages, farms, and bike shops, and transforms these discarded materials into unique sculptures. His process involves welding, shaping, and assembling the metal pieces to create dynamic forms that often sway in the breeze or respond to indoor environments.
